Lifestyle Gardens About

Our front garden has been beautiful for many years, thanks to you! I tried it myself, and it just didn’t cut it! The window boxes this year were gorgeous! Thank you and your crew for doing a wonderful job!

Our Process

Every project is unique to your vision, lifestyle, and to the potential of your landscape. Whether you need complete landscape rejuvenation, or simply seasonal container plantings, you'll find the process of working with us easy, engaging, and efficient.

Step One: Initial Interview

Our initial meeting is when we get acquainted, and discover the connection to specific plants you may have. Most often a plant is associated with a memory. The association may become a central meaning of an outdoor space. We may also may discuss or review:

  • Your landscape
  • Your goals
  • The existing design aesthetic
  • Your soil conditions
  • Your mulch preferences
  • Your connection with existing plants
  • Your vision for the way you want to enjoy your outdoor spaces
  • Aftercare and garden management needs

This interactive design session usually lasts about an hour. We freely share our intellectual property with you during this session. If you decide to work with us, the hourly consultation fee is credited back to you. Complimentary estimates are available for select service requests.

Step Two: Your Project Plan

From our initial interview or consultation, we can create a base map to scale, if needed, along with a detailed plant listing. The detailed plant listing itemizes the estimated time and materials for the desired project outcome. This proposal is sent to you for your review. We will follow-up with you to discuss any revisions you may desire.

Step Three: Approve & Schedule

Once you approve the proposal, we request a down payment of 40% of materials, as a mutual commitment to grow your gardens. We discuss how to schedule the project for a time that is both convenient to your lifestyle, and efficient for our crews. Larger projects can be staged or phased in over more than one season, if necessary.
