One-Year Mulch Types for annual beds and borders include:

- Mini Bark
- Compost/Humus
Two- to Three-Year Mulch Types for landscape beds include:
- Shredded Hardwood Bark
- Pine Needles
Long-term mulch types include:
- Rock
- Rubber
